When you imported this text As Document, DECwrite formated it in a
document-like style and created two new styles.  The basic paragraph
style is Include Paragraph Text, which is a 12 point Times font. The
style Include List #. is also created. 

The line wraps of the ASCII text are replaced by the paragraph style's
justified alignment. The carriage returns separating paragraphs in the
ASCII original are preserved. 

Use the following instructions to change the list into a DECwrite
numbered list. 

1. Select the entire list, but not the paragraph following the list.

2. Pull down the Styles option menu from the function bar and choose 
Numbered.  The list becomes a DECwrite numbered list.  Each
paragraph becomes a list item. 

3. Use the delete key or Edit -> Cut to remove the duplicate list
numbers that were part of the original ASCII text. 

4. To close this document, choose File -> Close Document.  DECwrite
asks if you want to save changes.

5. To save the document, answer Yes.  To close the document without 
saving it, answer No.

If you import the same ASCII text file As Is, DECwrite creates the
paragraph style Include Paragraph Program in 10 point Courier font. 
Every line wrap is treated as an end of paragraph, and blank spaces
are preserved.  Use As Is when the line breaks and spacing of the
original ASCII text are important, such as in a tabbed table or
program.
